Sarah grew up always wanting to be a criminal defense lawyer like her dad.  She has a criminal trial and appellate practice in which is she fortunate enough to practice with her brother, George Roland.  She has been a member of TCDLA since 2001 and serves on the Board of Directors.  Sarah is the editor of The Voice.  She has served as chairperson of CDLP and is an active speaker and author on criminal law topics throughout the state.  She is a past president of the Denton County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and received the first annual Hal Jackson Award in 2014.  She has been selected as a Rising Star and a Super Lawyer for multiple years.
