Bio

Thomas G. Ganim received his undergraduate degree from Fairfield University in 1989. Tom attended the University of Bridgeport School of Law and was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 1992. He is admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut before the Connecticut Superior, Appellate and Supreme Courts, as well as the United States District Court for Connecticut. In 2002 Tom was appointed by the Chief Justice of the Connecticut Supreme Court as a Fact Finder/Arbitrator for the Courts of the State of Connecticut.

Tom is a current or past member of the American Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association.

Tom handles a variety of legal cases, including personal injury litigation and arbitration, criminal defense, DWI/DUI defense, real estate law, contract negotiations, real estate closings and foreclosure work. Additionally, Tom handles a large volume of matrimonial law cases, including divorce and separation, child custody and support cases. Tom also practices probate law involving wills and estates and handles a variety of administrative hearings and appeals in various state agencies. He has also been appointed by and appeared before the Probate Court to serve as a conservator of estates for persons who are unable to handle their own affairs. Tom is a former Candidate for the Connecticut State Senate in 1996 and 1998.
