Bio

Benjamin Gergen is a third-generation attorney born and raised in Austin, Texas. Though he grew up surrounded by UT Longhorns, he became a devoted Texas Tech fan and earned his Finance degree there before returning to Austin to attend UT Law. During law school, he discovered his passion for defending juveniles and marginalized individuals, particularly those facing issues like addiction or mental illness.

Benjamin brings a sharp legal mind, strong courtroom instincts, and a deep understanding of how to navigate the justice system effectively. He focuses on DWI, DUI, sexual assault, and substance abuse cases, working closely with prosecutors and judges to craft outcomes that address root causes and offer second chances.

Practicing exclusively in Austin and surrounding counties, he’s built strong relationships in the courtroom and has helped countless clients avoid prison. At GHC Law Firm, Benjamin sees clients as teammates—not case numbers—and fights to humanize them in court, always aiming to achieve results that restore their lives and dignity.
