Bio

Adam Woody practices exclusively in criminal defense at the local, state, and federal levels. Adam is the Vice President of the Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and is a general member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is also a general member of the National College for DUI Defense which is an invitation only organization consisting of members who have demonstrated outstanding skill and experience in the field of DUI/DWI defense. He has also achieved board certification by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a criminal trial attorney in 2013. In 2011 Adam received the Up and Coming Attorneys Award from Missouri Lawyers Weekly and he has been awarded as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer by the National Trial Lawyers in 2013 through 2018. He also received the designation as a Rising Star by Superlawyers Magazine in 2016, as well as being awarded as a Top Ten Criminal Defense Lawyer Under Forty in Missouri by the National Academy of Criminal Defense Lawyers, both in 2015 and 2016. He was also recently named a Trusted Advisor by the Springfield Business Journal and was named in the 24th edition of Best Lawyers in America for his work in DUI/DWI defense, both in 2017. He is a member of the Missouri Bar, the United States District Court for the Western and Eastern Districts of Missouri, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit.
