Bio

After graduating from the University of Florida, Aimee taught high school U.S. History, after a serious automobile accident and a move to Lexington, South Carolina, she took a job as a paralegal at the Lexington County Public Defender’s office. She graduated, with honors, in the second class of the Charleston School of Law in May 2008, where she was a member of the Law Review and Moot Court Board. She took a job at McWhirter, Bellinger & Associates out of law school until 2010 when she became ill, recovered, and later that year hung her own shingle. She is now the owner of A.J.Z. Law Firm, LLC. focusing on criminal defense, PCR’s, and Plaintiff’s cases in both state and federal courts.

She sits on the Alumni Board for the Charleston School of Law, a member of SCAJ, SCDAL, and both the Lexington and Richland County Bars. She actively participates in the Young Lawyers Division (because they haven’t figured out they can kick her out)

Lastly, she's really funny, especially when she isn't trying to be. And yet, while Aimee does have a slightly dorky love of the law, she’d still prefer to tell you how cute her dogs are.
