Bio

Mark Donahoe has over 30 years of experience trying cases. Although his Criminal Defense Cases get a lot of Publicity, he is well versed in Civil Litigation and uses his trial skills to obtain favorable verdicts and maximize results for his clients in many other areas.

Mark is certified as a criminal trial specialist by the National Board of Legal Specialty Certification. He is a former assistant district attorney for the 4th Judicial District of Louisiana and has been defending criminal cases for over 25 years. He has been involved in a wide range of criminal cases including murder, narcotics offenses and Medicare and insurance fraud. He has represented doctors, lawyers, businessmen, law enforcement officials, and juveniles.

Mark is admitted to practice in Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee, the Tennessee Supreme Court, the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals, the Tennessee Court of Civil Appeals, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals–Fifth and Sixth Circuit. Mark graduated from Lambuth College with a Bachelor of Science degree and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1984.

Mark lectures regularly for many different associations, such as NBI, The Tennessee Bar Association, The Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, and The Administrative Office of the Courts on the uses of technology in the practice of law and the presentation of witnesses and exhibits at trial and on Trial Tactics.

He was selected to become a life member of the United States 6th Circuit Judicial Conference at the invitation of United States District Judge James Todd.

By maintaining membership in several bar associations, the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, and the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, Mr. Donahoe and the firm stay prepared to regularly litigate in all courts in Tennessee and elsewhere.
