Mr. Carlos D. Gonzalez is the founder and managing partner at Carlos D. Gonzalez PLLC. He was born and raised in Laredo, Texas but is currently headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. His areas of practice are primarily Criminal Defense and Personal Injury. Mr. Gonzalez attended Thurgood Marshall School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor degree. Prior to law school, Mr. Gonzalez attended Texas A&M International University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government. At Texas A&M International University, he also earned a Certification of International Studies. Gonzalez has many professional memberships including the State Bar of Texas, the American Bar Association, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Texas Criminal Defense Association, Houston Bar Association and San Antonio Bar Association. In addition to his law license in Texas, he also has several other licenses. He is a Property Tax Dispute Arbitrator for the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, holds a Real Estate License from the Texas Real Estate Commission and is an Ordained Minister with the American Marriage Ministries. His most recent awards include being chosen to the "Lawyers of Distinction" for 2020 as a highly rated Criminal Defense attorney and was voted to the "10 Best Attorneys" for 2020 in client satisfaction from the American Institute of Personal Injury Organization.
