Bio

David Z. Chesnoff has been practicing criminal law in Las Vegas, Nevada for the last 37 years. During that time, he has built a national practice, representing high profile clients from the business, entertainment and national and international community in a wide range of cases. He has appeared in federal and state courts in over 30 of the 50 states.
David graduated cum laude from Alfred University in 1976 and went on to graduate from Suffolk University Law School in 1979, where he was recently awarded an Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree. He is licensed to practice in Texas and Nevada, and he is active in numerous legal associations including the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Nevada Criminal Lawyers Association, and the American Board of Criminal Lawyers. He is on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club. His firm, Chesnoff & Schonfeld, maintains the highest rating available from Martindale-Hubbell (AV), and the firm is consistently listed as one of the top criminal law firms in the entire United States. He has worked as a legal analyst on ABC and he has been featured on other television shows including The Dick Cavett Show, The Charlie Rose Show, Larry King Show, A&E’s American Justice, Nancy Grace, 48 Hours, Forensic Files and City Confidential. David has lived in Israel as a young boy and he and his family have been supporters of Israel and the IDF since Israel’s birth in 1948.
