Bio

Jeffrey Stavroff has a diverse background, which distinguishes him from his peers. A native of Columbus, Ohio, Jeffrey is the owner and managing attorney of The Stavroff Law Firm, located in German Village.

Jeffrey holds a bachelor's in music from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, where he studied bass guitar performance and music business management. After working for music publishing companies and record labels, Jeffrey was inspired to attend law school. Jeffrey returned to Columbus and attended the Capital University Law School, where he earned his law degree, served on the Law Review Executive Board, and graduated with honors.

After receiving his law degree and passing the Ohio bar exam, he worked as a prosecuting attorney in the Columbus City Attorney's Office, serving both the trial unit and the domestic violence unit. During his time as a prosecutor at the Columbus City Attorney's Office, Jeffrey sat first chair on multiple jury trials, bench trials, and evidentiary hearings while creating lasting connections with judges, prosecutors, law enforcement agencies, and defense counsel. Jeffrey also used his knowledge to train both new and veteran police officers.

Before starting the Stavroff Law Firm, Jeffrey worked in a small criminal defense firm, where he focused his practice in OVI (commonly known as DUI or driving under the influence) defense and general criminal defense.

Jeffrey uses his diverse experience to service his clients in federal and state courts, as well as administrative agencies throughout the state of Ohio.
