Bio

Ricky is a former Sullivan County Assistant District Attorney, and has participated in hundreds of criminal cases in courtrooms throughout the Great State of Tennessee. Ricky is the only death penalty certified private attorney in Sullivan County and since 2000 has had the most active jury trial docket. Juries have returned not guilty verdicts in Ricky's cases ranging from violent felonies to simple assaults. He has lectured at law enforcement training classes for the Governor’s Highway Safety Office, the Tennessee District Attorney General’s Conference, and numerous law enforcement agencies. He is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and a former President of the Bristol, TN Bar Association.

Ricky currently represents defendants charged with all criminal offenses, ranging from misdemeanors to the most serious felony offenses.
