Bio

Tim has practiced Law over 44 years, mainly practicing Criminal Defense, Civil Litigation and Civil Rights Litigation in State and Federal courts throughout his career. He has practiced in State and Federal courts throughout the United States. He is admitted to practice in the Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Tenth Circuit and has appeared before the Eighth and Ninth Circuit.

Tim graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1975. While attending his first year of Law School Tim was Representative of the Student Bar Association, his second year he was Vice President of the Student Bar Association and became President of the Student Bar Association his third year of Law School. His awards in Law School were: Margaret Keiper Daily Award, Verle R. Seed Service Award and the Deans Award for years 1973,1974 and 1975. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of New Mexico where he was Chairman of the ASUNM Popular Entertainment Committee.

Activities as an Attorney include: Chairman of Criminal Justice At Committee from 1992-2009 for US Federal Court District of New Mexico, Demonstrator of University of New Mexico School of Law - Trial Evidence Practice, Member, Consolidation Committee (Bernalillo County Magistrate Court to Metropolitan Court), Member Judicial Selection Committee. Bernalillo County District Court (Second Judicial District) United States Court, District of New Mexico, Lecturer, New Mexico Bar Convention - Nuts & Bolts of Criminal Law, Lecturer, New Mexico Criminal Law Section - DWI Seminar.
